I’m Johannes Püller — a filmmaker based in Vienna, Austria. Below is a selection of my indie work across feature-length TV-Movies, award-winning shorts, and music videos. Available worldwide for indie productions.

The challenge here was translating the director’s vision exactly. Black-and-white reduces an image to light and shadow, so the lighting had to be precise — and the actual location had to stay abstract in the background. The shoot also included a demanding handheld passage, panning between two actors on tight timing. Thanks to careful planning and an excellent crew, it all landed.
I’m drawn to the play between light and shadow, color and contrast — that’s where a story finds its weight.
